LIMITED, COUNTDOWN, OPEN EDITIONS

Q: What are the differences ?!

A: At Ubi Workshop we love rare and limited series especially for apparels and prints so we came up with this complex system:

 LIMITED EDITION

The easiest one to understand, it means we have a limited number of the item for sale.

The number is clearly displayed in the product description on the product page and when the number is reached, the product is gone...forever.

Good examples of that are our limited prints.


In this example: 399 copies no more, no less. That's a limited edition

Note: We never display how much items are still available. In other words, the product can switch to "sold out" without any notice at any moment.

COUNTDOWN EDITION 


That's a different kind of limited edition. Instead of having a limited number of copies for sale, YOU have a limited time to buy the item before it is not longer available. When the countdown reach zero, the product is gone...forever.

In the example below:


In 2 days and 12 hours....the product is removed from the store and become "sold out" like our Abstergo Research and Development Hoodie for example.

OPEN EDITION

It means the product has no particular sale restriction and should be available most of the time. However, the item might be temporarily sold out. Don't panic, it may come back. 

ORDERING

Q: How do I place my order?

A: It’s easy as A-B-C, 1-2-3!

  1. Browse through the site until you find the item you wish to purchase. 
  2. From the product page, select the size you'd like to buy and click “Add to Cart” or “Pre-Order” depending on the product. Make sure you select the size or else you will fall in a black hole and never come back! Just kidding, it just won’t work. You will automatically be directed to your cart where you will be able to see what you are ready to purchase and change quantity if desired. You can either hit “CONTINUE SHOPPING” or “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT” if you are done.
  3. Once you've added all the items that you wish to purchase to your cart, you can begin the checkout process. Click the cart icon on the right side to review your shopping cart and start the checkout process. This process involves 4 steps; Review Your Order, Shipping Information, Shipping Method, and Billing via PayPal. Once everything is done, we'll send over an email with your order information to confirm.

Q: Can I place a phone or mail order?

A: Due to the nature of our order system, we don't accept phone or mail orders. Orders can only be placed online. Rest assured, our online checkout process is secure and no credit card information is stored. 

Q: Why was I refunded?

A: Submitting your Payment Information onto PAYPAL only confirms your payment information it DOES NOT CONFIRM YOUR ORDER. We reserve the right, at any time after receipt of your order, to accept or decline your order for any reason. We reserve the right, at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. We will immediately notify customer (using contact information provided by customer) but are not obligated to obtain permission or acknowledgement prior to cancellation. We may need to verify any information you provide before we accept an order. Item availability and prices of all products sold at the www.ubiworkshop.com site are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities on certain items.FINAL CONFIRMATION OF PURCHASE is processed through our Shopping Cart after your payment has been accepted by PAYPAL. 

Please note that ALL transactions are final. NO REFUND, EXCHANGE OR RETURN.

Q: Can I buy more than one of the same print, apparel etc...?

A: If the product belong to the "Limited Edition" category then the answer is no. 

Q: I’d like to buy one of your products, but it is already sold out. Can you print/make more?

A: It depends of which category the product belongs, see the Edition FAQ.

Q: What will Ubi Workshop do with my personal information?

A: We take your privacy very seriously. Your information will never be shared with any third party outside of a transaction. You read our privacy policy HERE.


SHIPPING 

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: YES, WE DO!  We usually ship items with Canada Post.

IMPORTANT TO INTERNATIONAL ORDERS – ADDITIONAL CUSTOM CHARGES: The shipping charges that are incorporated into your bill automatically from our shopping cart, and reflected in your invoice from us, are for the actual shipping of the item into your country only. Please be aware that each country has its own ‘Import Duty’, ‘VAT’, and shipping fee. You may want to check with your local post office or Customs office to find out just what these charges may be. We cannot, of course, assume any responsibility for these extra charges that may be incurred in your country, and therefore these additional charges are your own responsibility. We will not refund your order if you refuse to pay the fees to accept your package from the courier. Your order is non-refundable and placing your order you agree to receive the items. If you do not accept your package from the courier or customs it will be abandoned in your Country.

WARNING! If your order is returned to us because the address was incomplete or package was unclaimed, you will be responsible for the re-shipping fee to ship the package to your correct address. THANK YOU!

Q: How do I calculate my shipping charges?

A: You can see the shipping charges before you submit your payment. Select the items you want to purchase in our store. Click the “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT” button. Once you have entered your shipping address and contact information, hit “Continue to next step” and you will be directed to a page where you will be able to view all the shipping option to your region.

Q: I live in Montreal Canada, can I avoid shipping fees?

Yes, just follow these instructions for local pick-up

 

Q: What are the differences between the shipping options?

** Please note that not all shipping options are available for in every region. Speed may vary due to weather, customs and exceptions. If the shipping option you have chosen when placing your order is Shipping International Standard Non-Trackable, depending on the distance between your country and Canada, delivery time will take between 6 to 10 weeks. Unfortunately, when your package leaves our building, we are unable to track its location. 

Q: How long does it take for my order to be shipped?

A: From time of purchase, orders that are NOT PRE-ORDERS are typically shipped with 3-5 business days of your completed transaction. You will receive shipping and tracking information via email. The Ubi Workshop Orders Dept is opened from 8 AM to 5 PM solely on weekdays. If you have purchased an item on PRE-ORDER, please refer to the product page for the shipping date information. Please note that Ubi Workshop reserves the right to change the shipping date at any time without further notice.

Q: I made my order more that X days ago and paid for it, why hasn’t it been shipped already?

A: If you made your order a while ago and it hasn’t been shipped, you probably have pre-ordered your items. Track the confirmation email UbiWorkshop has sent you and look up the items you have purchased on the website. On every product page, the shipping date is listed in red. Don’t worry we haven’t forget you and every order is important to our team!

Q: How can I track my order?

A: Depending on the shipping option you have chosen, this service might not be available. If you have chosen International Standard Non-Trackable or Canada Post Small Packets Air, we will not be able to provide you with tracking information. If you have chosen an option with a tracking number, you will receive an email confirmation from our courier including the tracking information.

Q: Why did I have to pay an extra X$ from my local custom service?

A: When ordering online and having packages shipped to your country, it is possible that the customs decide to tax your package, this is not an isolated case. Unfortunately, we do not cover boundaries taxes. I suggest you call your local customs office to prevent such situations.

Q: How do you ship your artworks?


A: We ship the prints delicately wrapped in a protective plastic inside of a thick cardboard tube.


PRINTS

Q: What are the dimensions of the prints?

A: Dimensions can be found in the description of each print, but they are usually 22½’’ x 15’’

Q: Are all prints embossed and numbered?

A: Yes, all of our limited editions prints are embossed to certify their authenticity as UBISOFT ORIGINAL ARTWORK. Every print is hand-numbered at the bottom right corner of the artwork.

Q: What type of paper is used for the prints?

A: The prints are produced on a 310 gsm, acid free and 100% cotton high quality textured paper.

Q: What technique is used to make the prints?

A: Professional inkjet printing also called Giclée.

Q: There is an artwork created by Ubisoft that I would like to see as a Limited Edition print. Where can I send my suggestion?
