Chaos Theory Remixed: vinyl edition

A lot of gamers are also serious music lovers and vice versa. This will make everybody happy.

Remember Splinter Cell Chaos Theory? Who doesn't? Then you might also remember the game soundtrack crafted by Amon Tobin. In February Ninja Tune released a remix of that soundtrack. Guys such as Kid Koala, Daedelus, The Qemists, King Cannibal, Eskmo and Lorn gave their versions of Amon Tobin tracks. This remix is the OST to the new Splinter Cell game: Splinter Cell 3D, coming out soon on 3DS.

For all the collectors out there and electro connoisseurs we are now releasing a vinyl version of that soundtrack, exclusively on Ubiworkshop.

This 180 grams double LP comes in a sleeve designed by Ninja Tune's own DJ Food. Being the geek that he is, the inner sleeve is in 3D and 3D glasses are included in the package.

You can listen to samples of this OST (and buy the digital version) here.

The original Theme from Battery is probably one of the greatest videogame tracks I’ve ever heard, it’s pure genius.

Anyway, releasing a vinyl is an awesome move. I’ll give the remixes a listen to see if it’s worth ordering.
